Founder
Ryan Auger founded Redwood Capital Group LLC (formerly Redwood Storage LLC) in 2021 to capitalize on the large opportunity in the self-storage market present at the time: a large percentage of self-storage facilities were mom'n'pop owned, with no website, rarely answered the phone, and were simply charging significantly less rent than professional owners with the same quality properties.
Since 2021 Redwood Capital Group has evolved to take on industrial and development projects as well. Ryan has led Redwood Capital Group through 4 self-storage and 5 industrial real estate acquisitions. Ryan also founded Redwood Property Management LLC (now Redwood Operations LLC) to provide Redwood Capital Group properties with institutional quality property and asset management services on sub-institutional sized properties.
